Welcome to 2023’s Wrap Up!

It’s been quite a wild ride this year! From announcing my pregnancy to having a baby girl, to adjusting to life with two kids, an unexpected surgery, a bit of a mental health crisis and more, fair to say it’s been a rollercoaster, and I’m excited for 2023 to be wrapped up once and for all! Not only that, but in 2024 I turn 30, and I’m hoping this new decade will be kinder to me!

All of that totals approx 250K!! Over half of which was exclusive to my members!

Behind the scenes this year, I have been working on some secret projects and have written over 230K! (Some of what was posted this year was written in 2022) I’d say that’s pretty good going for someone who didn’t write for 5 months of the year 😅

This year, my most viewed post was Open Wounds Masterlist! Closely followed by The King’s Blessing Masterlist! My most viewed oneshot was Impatient!

My most LIKED post was Lucky!

I think my favourite fanfic I wrote this year was probably Thrill Seekers. I just found it a lot of fun to write!

I am going to start posting to Patreon again! As you probably remember, I stopped posting on Patreon last year due to their censorship, meaning none of my upcomings fics would be stuiable. However, the next few fics I’ve got in the pipelines will be suitable to post there, so I figured I’d put them on there! Patreon is only going to be getting new early access content. No new members exclusive content will be posted there, only here on my website.

As I write this, I’m not really sure what 2024 is going to look like for my writing. As most of you know, I’ve really suffered with my mental health recently, and while medication and therapy are helping me a lot, the motivation to write and be present online is still really severely lacking. I know a lot of writers have posted about interaction being low recently, and I am definitely struggling with it. I feel like a lot of the time I’m posting into a void, and when something like this takes a lot of energy mentally and sometimes physically, but you’re not getting any kind of energy in return, it’s just draining.

It’s really something I need to consider when trying to look after my mental health, and so while I do have fics I’ve written previously and can post in the new year, at the moment I’m not sure what comes after they run out.

But on a more uplifting note, one thing I can share with you, is that in 2024, I will be releasing an original novel! This novel took years of planning, and I finally wrote it while on maternity leave. It won’t be posted on here or tumblr, and will only be available to buy (currently only in PDF form). I will be sure to share more information on it soon!

I think that finishes off 2023 pretty nicely. Thank you for all your love and support this year, especially while I’ve navigated some huge changes in my life. I hope you’ve all had a good year, and I hope 2024 is even better and brings you all everything you wish for <3
