Welcome to January’s Monthly Wrap Up!
The first wrap up post of 2024! I’ve had such a busy month with my birthday and going away to celebrate, that I haven’t been able to get back into the swing of things properly since, but I promise I’m trying to get better at being more interactive again. If you’re in discord, you’ll know there’s been some major developments in my mental health situation, which is ongoing (and likely will be for a long time), so I just ask for your patience. Anyway, let’s wrap up last month, shall we?
This month, I posted, 7 mini series updates and 1 oneshot, which totals nearly 23K! Approx 7K of which was exclusive to my members, and won’t be making it to Tumblr!
Behind the scenes this month I’ve started working on a new series that I’m hoping will end up seeing the light of day sometime this year, and so far have written close to 20K for it 🙂
You guys seem to be enjoying My Worthless Love this month! If you haven’t checked it out yet, do it now!!
My fave this month was Here to Help – It’s been a while since I indulged in some J2 with a side of reader… mmm
Just a reminder to all Second Base Members to please fill in the drabble form for 2024 or you won’t receive a drabble for your birthday! 🙂
Nothing else to report from this past month!
Here’s what Feb’s posting schedule looks like!
*Fics highlighted in green are members’ exclusive.
I’m not aware of any birthdays this month, but if you do have one, then happy birthday!
If you’d like me to give you a shout out for your birthday, send me a message and let me know when it is!
For the time being, my commissions are once again closed. I will be sure to let you guys know if/when they reopen.
I do just want to point out here that while I have a “most likes” segment in this post, for the last year or so, most likes have been only a small handful, for example, this month was only 2 likes. Engagement has been really low for a while, and while I’ve done everything I can to try and not let it bother me, or increase it with feedback forms etc, and I’ve tried to be honest with you all about how it makes me feel, when there’s no change there comes a point when you’re just too tired to fight anymore. I force myself to write content, and I have lost my passion for writing which I never wanted.
The only reason my website/Tumblr are still active is because A) I have prewritten content that’s currently posting and B) I’m currently out of work and rely on the money it provides me.
So all that being said, I just wanted to be completely honest with you and let you know that I’ve made the tough decision to shut down my website/Tumblr as soon as I’ve found work. This could be next month or several months down the line, it’s unclear yet. But I’ll be sure to keep you updated and I promise I won’t leave any stories incomplete when the time does come for me to shut it all down.
Thanks for reading,
Lots of love to you all,
