Anyone who is super observant might have noticed that I have recently removed the annual option from my subscriptions.
There are a number of personal reasons for me doing this; some to do with my job and my personal life, and one important reason being that I plan to spend a lot of next year working on some personal goals including writing original fictions. My son is starting school full time next autumn and it was always my ambition to start focusing on a long term career when this happens.
Because of all the different factors coming into play for me all of a sudden, I cannot guarantee how much time I’ll have to commit to writing and providing content the way I currently do. My posting plans might change a lot over the next year, and while I don’t plan on leaving completely, I recognise that my members have grown to expect a certain regularity and quality to my website’s content that, at this point, I cannot guarantee to uphold long term.
For this reason, I’d rather my members have control over their memberships, enabling them to cancel their subscription at any time, rather than committing to a year without knowing what the year will bring.
For any existing annual members, it’s important to note that your renewal will still be on an annual basis unless you cancel and resubscribe at the monthly level. I’d encourage all of you to move to monthly for the above reasons. If you need any help making the move, please let me know.
I want to take this opportunity to once again thank you all for your continued support. I hope you’re all well, and while this message seems a little gloomy, I’d like to reassure you I’m actually very excited for all the new changes next year will hopefully be bringing me 🙂
Lots of love to you all!
Bee xx
